The rings are made of wire with a diameter of 3.00 mm and a tensile strength of 1,700 N/mm2. The amount of anti-corrosion coating of the rings is at least 255 g/m2. Stainless steel rings are used to connect wire boxes with coated (plasticized) wire.

The hoops are placed at distances determined by the study and will generally be on the order of 15.0 cm. Based on the above, the rings will be applied at a ratio of approximately 30 pieces per m3 of wire box volume.
